The Manitoba Society of Gourmets (MSG) was inspired by people who care about delicious food, where it comes from, how it is prepared, the person doing the cooking, and the history behind each dish
Prior to buying any MSG merchandise, you have to take the MSG PLEDGE. As the eating decisions you make now, will impact the world and future generations, therefore:
"I PLEDGE THROUGH MY PERSONAL EATING DECISIONS, I WILL SUPPORT LOCAL FARMS AND PRODUCERS THAT PROMOTE EARTH BASED DECISIONS, CULTURAL DIVERSITY AND UPHOLD CURRENT EQUITY STANDARDS. I ALSO RECOGNIZE THAT FINE DINING CAN BE CREATED BY NOT ONLY CLASSICALLY TRAINED CHEFS, BUT ALSO THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN TRAINED THROUGH THE PASSING DOWN OF KNOWLEDGE FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION"
